Este diccionario kreyl-espaol tiene una introduccin, un anlisis contrastivo en los cuatro idiomas de unas treinta consideraciones gramaticales, de los signos de puntuaciones, de algunas trucas gramaticales para facilitar la transicin del kreyl al espaol y viceversa, de setenta y ocho expresiones latinas al kreyl, espaol, ingls y francs e informacin general relacionada con el kreyl y el espaol. Est dividido en dos partes principales: kreyl-espaol (el kreyl est en orden alfabtico) y espaol-kreyl (el espaol est en orden alfabtico), pero cada parte es complementada por el ingls y el francs. El diccionario tiene 468 pginas. En este diccionario, utilizamos los trminos generales, las palabras y expresiones francesas creolizadas, palabras nativas y africanas, palabras extranjeras, palabras tecnolgicas, cientficas, neologismos as como vocabularios provenientes de materias tales como: qumica, fsica, biologa, derecho, medicina, entre otros. Todo est basado en la ortografa oficial del kreyl haitiano y adoptamos los procedimientos siguientes, varios de los cuales podran ser revisados y fijados por la Academia del kreyl haitiano: 1) Parntesis ( ) para los sinnimos. Given the new technological advances and their influence and imprint in the design and development of dictionaries and lexicographic resources, it seems important to put together a series of publications that address this new situation, dealing in particular with multilingual and electronic lexicography in an increasingly digital, multilingual and multicultural society. This is the main objective of this volume, which is structured in two central aspects. In the first of them the concept of multilingual lexicography is discussed in regard to the influence that the Internet and the application of digital technologies have exercised and continue to exercise both in the conception and design of dictionaries and new lexicographic application tools as well as the emergence of new types of users and forms of consultation. The role of the dictionary must necessarily be related to social development and changes. In the second thematic section, different dictionaries and resources that focus on a multilingual and electronic approach to the linguistic data for their lexicographical treatment and consultation are presented.

Unwriting Maya Literature provides an important decolonial framework for reading Maya texts that builds on the work of Maya authors and intellectuals such as Q’anjob’al Gaspar Pedro González and Kaqchikel Irma Otzoy. Paul M. Worley and Rita M. Palacios privilege the Maya category ts’íib over constructions of the literary in order to reveal how Maya peoples themselves conceive of artistic creation. This offers a decolonial departure from theoretical approaches that remain situated within alphabetic Maya linguistic and literary creation. As ts’íib refers to a broad range of artistic production from painted codices and textiles to works composed in Latin script, as well as plastic arts, the authors argue that texts by contemporary Maya writers must be read as dialoguing with a multimodal Indigenous understanding of text. In other words, ts’íib is an alternative to understanding “writing” that does not stand in opposition to but rather fully encompasses alphabetic writing, placing it alongside and in dialogue with a number of other forms of recorded knowledge. This shift in focus allows for a critical reexamination of the role that weaving and bodily performance play in these literatures, as well as for a nuanced understanding of how Maya writers articulate decolonial Maya aesthetics in their works. Unwriting Maya Literature places contemporary Maya literatures within a context that is situated in Indigenous ways of knowing and being. Through ts’íib, the authors propose an alternative to traditional analysis of Maya cultural production that allows critics, students, and admirers to respectfully interact with the texts and their authors. Unwriting Maya Literature offers critical praxis for understanding Mesoamerican works that encompass non-Western ways of reading and creating texts.

Following the Zapatista uprising on New Year’s Day 1994, the EZLN communities of Chiapas began the slow process of creating a system of autonomous government that would bring their call for freedom, justice, and democracy from word to reality. Analyzes contemporary Yucatecan and Chiapanecan Maya narratives. Recovering Lost Footprints, Volume 2 is an in-depth analysis of the sociohistorical conflict impacting Indigenous communities in Latin America.
