This is one of the most comprehensive books on Tunisian Crochet published to date. Featuring 140 pages of... 400+ Stitch Variations 560 Photographs Tutorials Questions & Answers Tips & Tricks Dictionary of Terms Historical Background Alternate Stitch Names & Terms Bibliography This book includes everything needed to get started and master Tunisian Crochet! I received the Encyclopedia of Tunisian Crochet yesterday and all I can say is WOWOWOWOWOWOW. I mean it. Without a doubt, it is the most comprehensive book Ive ever seen on Tunisian crochet and I cant wait to show it off to my crochet group. Its excellent quality, well worth the asking price and very easy to understand. BarbIf you want more than the basics, Id recommend [the] Encyclopedia of Tunisian Crochet. This book has all those basic stitches, numerous variations on the basics, historic stitches; history of crochet, knit and Tunisian; actual photos of stitch swatches and photos of how to make the stitches. The detailed photos of where to insert your hook are extremely clear. Over 400 stitches! Photos included stitches, stitch details and some color photos of completed projects. Definitely worth the cost! JaneThe research, the writing, the pictures, all of it is the ticket I looked for over the last 25 years [or maybe more]! LindaThis definitely is the most comprehensive book on Tunisian/Afghan stitch I have ever seen. Great illustrations and written instructions. Even the novice can follow this. JudySo far I have one word for your book... PHENOMENAL! I cant wait to sit down with it and really look it over. Please, if you are maintaining a list of those who would like to purchase your next Tunisian book, put my name down and let me know when it is ready to purchase. PeggyI havent yet had the time to really sit down and read it, but OMG [Oh my God!] Im already absolutely in love with it! I honestly never knew that there is so much that can be done with Tunisian crochet. Anyway, Im looking forward to spending a lot of time with your book [and will whole-heartedly recommend it to my friends] and will excitedly await your second one. Debra
