One of the most amazing revelations that is discovered about the Bible is that it isn’t just an ancient history book. God is actually present in this world from the beginning to the present time—and to the end of time. In other words, God always has been—and still is—for us! Eternal Love Means God Is for Us will encourage each of us on our journeys as believers, and it will uplift us both personally and as part of the church to evangelize with greater confidence. This confidence is needed so much more as the church’s relevance is being challenged today. Author and pastor Dr. George P. Kimber shows us how God is present in the world—and present in the church, making it eternally relevant no matter the state of the world. The scriptures reveal that God wanted to have a people made in his image and would eventually be with him forever in eternity. The Bible records his actions of moving through history to accomplish this in spite of all the ups and downs. Because of this determination, we can be assured that God is with us and for us while his will is being accomplished.

Emotional and sexual intimacy is unbalanced for those who have been traumatized, neglected, and abused. For some, this involves sexual acting out behavior, multiple partners and/or serial affairs or some form of traumatic reenactment. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that 70 percent of all reported sex disorders relate to sexual addictions, substance abuse, suicide, promiscuity, prostitution, losses of trust, destruction of self-esteem, development of shame, guilt, depression, and other psycho-behavioral issues. Our goal is to assist individuals by walking them through the process of healing, wholeness, making intimate connections with spirituality and treatment approaches, and thus leading the way to enhancing the skills and capabilities of professionals who treat individuals for sexual addiction and other trauma-induced intimacy disorders. Learning to embrace God's love and self-love are the first steps towards sharing intimacy with another. It is God's will that we enjoy the delightfulness of love, sex, and romance between mates. It is God's pleasure to see us become the best lovers we can be. The 21st Century generation brings with it a big appetite for seductive aura, sexy secrets, ancient secrets, and sexual energy. They live lavish lifestyles with hip-hop excitement, no limits, secular humanism, no morals, and instant pleasure. Everybody gets in where they fit in. If they want it, they're taking it. If it feels good, they're doing it. Sex, money, and power are their playthings. Unfortunately the pressure of acceptance, addiction, approval, attention seeking, need to please, desperation for fame, fortune, and notoriety have been the many justifications they have used to reach for false hope in people, places or things. Too often, this behavior has led to all-too-real pain and emotional suffering. A nationwide survey found that the body of Christ is sick from a lack of balance in its spiritual, emotional, and physical health. Some feel their spirit, not their body, belongs to God. They also feel that 90 percent of diseases are from emotional stresses. The X-IT model allows people to open up the lines of communication for families, schools, religions, and communities that have overlooked the intricate cry for help against the grips of the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Satisfying the desires of temptation no longer delivers promises; it now dishes up pain and consequences. Agape Connections will give options and provide solutions to addressing long-neglected issues in all races, religions, and income groups that have been misdirected misunderstood, misdiagnosed, mistreated, miscommunicated, or misused because of improper information and revelation. You don't have to die in your situation. If you don't deal with IT - IT will deal with you.

In Gods Word to a Widows Heart, author Ronda Little Martin provides daily inspiration from Gods Word for those recovering from personal loss. A widow herself, Martin is the cofounder of PHOEBE Connections, which connects widows for fellowship and service. This collection gathers the daily devotionals that she writes each day to the widows of PHOEBE Connections based upon her own devotion time with God. They are designed to inspire, strengthen, comfort, and encourage widows in their journey to overcome grief and to gain new identity and purpose in Jesus Christ. Martin spends the early part of each morning reading and personally applying Gods Word. She then shares whatever message of inspiration He gives her with the ladies of PHOEBE Connections via e-mail, social media, and the PHOEBE website. Therein, she seeks to fulfill Pauls command in 2 Corinthians 1:4 to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. From Determine to Sing a New Song to Just Keep Asking, Gods Word to a Widows Heart can strike a chord with anyone who is dealing with profound, personal loss.

This collection of letters is a continuation of my earlier collection, The Gabriel Letters. I stumbled on the idea of writing imagined letters from an archangel advising a young guardian, while reading an introduction to C. S. Lewis Screwtape Letters. It has been a marvelous way perhaps delusional of standing back and imagining that I can see the world through angel eyes. The amazing result for me has been a sense of objectivity and good will. The intended purpose of the letters is to apply to all things the idea of Gods complete love (self-sacrificing, eternal, parent-like love). This idea is the center of Christianity. It is Jesus message, and it is St. Pauls good news. If we desire to be Christian, we should begin, it seems to me, by attempting to apply Jesus teachings to all things: to our behavior; to our human relationships, especially family; to our work and our business dealings; to the way we run our churches; and to the way we study the scriptures. If we take Jesus seriously, we must reevaluate much of the Bible the parts which are not specifically the teachings of Jesus. Jesus, Himself, questioned much of the scriptures. These letters cover a variety of subjects, many of them Biblical. Some Biblical passages need correction in light of Jesus ideas. Some Biblical passages are so marvelous that we need to lift them to the sky and shout, Look at this! Some Biblical passages are confusing, and we need to wrestle with them. But in all, we should be trying to see them through Jesus eyes. To see through Jesus eyes is, I suspect, what the true Gabriel wants, and it is the intent of this book. - Richard V. Shriver
