The Monkey Sanctuary of Boabeng Fiema was the last place students from Kyerewaa Memorial would choose for an excursion. The quest to experience wildlife in its natural habitat would, however, be enough persuasion for a teacher to get six of her class to follow her to the sanctuary. They made their journey to Boabeng Fiema, from where they secured the services of a tour guide, who led them into the sanctuary. Their expectation of a beautiful, academic excursion was crudely cut short when loud drumming and chants pierced the silence that was characteristic of the sanctuary. These loud noises were the result of very unnatural and barbaric rituals that targeted monkeys for sacrifices. Unsettled by this, the monkeys would respond with a self-defense stance to prevent more deaths. Caught in the midst of this ensuing scuffle, Miss Brefi and her students are presented with a whole new experience that was unexpected and very unacademic. Miss Brefi and her students must now find their way out of the forest and out of harms way. With their tour guide dead, they must work together to outwit the monkeys, who were now on a rampage to kill anything human.

Prepare yourself for one of Lucia Jordan's most daring series yet! Here, presented in one volume, are the four stories that comprise the ‘Lust’ Series, a seriously hot and provocative romance by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion, searing depictions of sex and emotion. Back in high school Claire and Brent used to joke that if they were not married to other people by the time they were thirty they would marry each other. Brent remembers his friend as the geeky, glasses wearing redhead, who was always a little too tall and skinny, and Claire remembers Brent as the shy guy with the nice smile and the gentlemanly manners. Neither of them is ready for the fact that Claire is a gorgeous, willowy beauty and Brent is a strapping virile man with a thick shock of blonde hair and a heart stopping, panty dropping smile. What begins with a blindfold develops into a deep exploration that leads far beyond friendship and their previous limits. This ebook contains very hot and explicit descriptions of romantic activity. Only mature readers should download this book.

A stunning star-crossed love story set against the glitz and grit of 1980s New York City When Elise Perez meets Jamey Hyde on a desolate winter afternoon, fate implodes, and neither of their lives will ever be the same. Although they are next-door neighbors in New Haven, they come from different worlds. Elise grew up in a housing project without a father and didn’t graduate from high school; Jamey is a junior at Yale, heir to a private investment bank fortune and beholden to high family expectations. Nevertheless, the attraction is instant, and what starts out as sexual obsession turns into something greater, stranger, and impossible to ignore. The couple moves to Manhattan in search of a new life, and White Fur follows them as they wander through Newport mansions and East Village dives, WASP-establishment yacht clubs and the grimy streets below Canal Street, fighting the forces determined to keep them apart. White Fur combines the electricity of Less Than Zero with the timeless intensity of Romeo and Juliet in this searing, gorgeously written novel that perfectly captures the ferocity of young love.

For more than three decades, a punk underground has repeatedly insisted that 'anyone can do it'. This underground punk movement has evolved via several micro-traditions, each offering distinct and novel presentations of what punk is, isn't, or should be. Underlying all these punk micro-traditions is a politics of empowerment that claims to be anarchistic in character, in the sense that it is contingent upon a spontaneous will to liberty (anyone can do it - in theory). How valid, though, is punk's faith in anarchistic empowerment? Exploring theories from Derrida and Marx, Anyone Can Do It: Empowerment, Tradition and the Punk Underground examines the cultural history and politics of punk. In its political resistance, punk bears an ideological relationship to the folk movement, but punk's faith in novelty and spontaneous liberty distinguish it from folk: where punk's traditions, from the 1970s onwards, have tended to search for an anarchistic 'new-sense', folk singers have more often been socialist/Marxist traditionalists, especially during the 1950s and 60s. Detailed case studies show the continuities and differences between four micro-traditions of punk: anarcho-punk, cutie/'C86', riot grrrl and math rock, thus surveying UK and US punk-related scenes of the 1980s, 1990s and beyond.
