Magic at Ferns and Blooms is the first of a trilogy for children and teenagers that weaves magic into the day-to-day life of a technologically advancing world where life has become a sprint and nature is more attractive as a game or wall paper on a computer screen or smart phone. At a time when magic is not so real anymore and technology has taken over, Ms. Patricia Sycamore and her cat Snowie come to live in a cottage named ‘Ferns and Blooms’ in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the Magic Forest and things begin to happen! As an English teacher at St. Anne’s School, she is much loved by her students, especially by five children who live near her. Unaware that their teacher is a fairy and one of the magic folk who live in the Magic Forest, the children visit her often and spend much time in her beautiful garden. They help Ms. Patricia and Snowie to put wrong things right, quite unknowingly too! Soon a friendship develops between Patricia and these children, born out of mutual respect and liking.
