MianDon't run. Don't fight. Just hide. That's all we can do against the Sasor barbarian horde - huge megalithic aliens, born to fight, who can shape shift at will into monsters. We're only human, and me, just a slave among them.Getting caught is not part of the plan, but when they raid our village, I do the only thing I can think of to spare the whole. I offer myself up to their leader. Infuriating, and strangely funny, I have a lot to learn - his languages and customs, the roles I'm meant to fulfill in his tribe, and how to keep him at arm's length when he's seemingly everywhere, blocking any chances I have to find a mate, and keeping me at his side.?NeheyuuShe's funny, this human. A fast learner, already adapting to our language with ease. She's forgiving. Quick to smile, it's easy to smile back. Too easy. She's slipping under my skin, infecting me and my manerak. The monster that I can become seems more ready to do her will than my own. Like she's controlling it. I should let her go. I should let her find a mate. I should let the tribes that come for her, take her?My manerak says no. Its defiance is something I've never felt before and I will need to find a way to deny them both - but how can I when my manerak wants her close?

Miari Blue skin. Seven feet. Strapped with corded muscle, the aliens have come again but this time, their king is here and he's watching me with hunger.A hybrid with red alien skin and brown human eyes, I've got no family and am not desired by colony men. I'm an inventor, a mechanic, a tinkerer. The alien king seeks to claim me, but he'll have to find me first. Our little colony is a scary, desperate place and I'm willing to meet it head on if it means escaping him and the alien sensations he stirs deep in my gut, where light and truth cannot touch them.RakuShe is my Xiveri mate, yet she runs from me - straight into the horrors of her savage moon colony. Does she not know that I would slaughter in her defense? Nox, she does not. My brilliant hybrid thinks herself a slave - my slave - and in place of acceptance, offers me only pacts and bargains. Shamed by her pacts, I still take them all gluttonously, because she is mine - my hybrid, my Xiveri mate, Voraxia's queen and mine to worship. Taken to Voraxia is a full-length (95k words) SciFi alien romance and book 1 in a 6+ book series. Xiveri Mates books come with a guaranteed HEA. Books 3 and 6 feature Xiveri Mates from outside of the Voraxian constellation, while the rest are best read in sequential order. YES for alpha alien overlords, warrior heroines, fated mates who are also enemies-to-lovers, action and sometimes violence, world-building and extra steamy bits. NO for abuse, dubcon, noncon, cheating, menage, harem or love triangles. Subjugation of human women is an early theme in book 1 and, while it ends spectacularly, may be a trigger for sensitive readers.

He came, he shifted and then he stole...me. Hiding is the only option against the barbarian horde of Sasor that comes to destroy our village. Hiding...doesn't work. Their leader, a beast of a male capable of shifting into a monster with claws for hands and fangs for teeth, finds me and takes me captive. But he's...not what I expected – and not just because he's a complete scoundrel and a fool. He's made it clear he won't join with me, but blocks any chances I have of finding a mate, keeping me at his side. And then, when another rival horde comes to steal me away, he surprises me again by coming for me, this time as a monster of a different kind. One of legend. One never seen on Sasor's soil. One that's mine. __________ Welcome to the world of shifters on Sasor in Xiveri Mates book 3! This book features an entirely new cast of characters from previous Xiveri Mates romances, comes with its own HEA and can be read at any point. It's also MY personal favorite in the series :P

And I'm very sure that I'll need Rhork's help to get out of this. But Rhork thinks I'm a defective female because of my twisted leg. What if he's not willing to give it?RhorkCommunicating with the human female for almost a rotation was, in retrospect, a poor choice. Now, she seems to be the ever-present voice in my head, distracting me, making me want things I shouldn't.To make her a pirate. To show her the universe. And most of all, to keep her for myself. This study developed out of the personal experience of daily life that I and my family had in the years 1932-1942 among the Biak speaking people of the Radja Ampat area (Sorong), West New Guinea. Our family had become integrated into the community as far as possible, and we used the Biak language every day. Three of the movements described in this book took place in that area, so that I was able to study them under the favorable conditions of direct participation and observation. The first edition of the book in 1954 (in Dutch) was the writer's doctoral thesis (Ph. D.), written under the guidance of the late Professor J. P. B. de Josselin de Jong. I am very grateful to the Royal Institute of Linguistics and Anthro pology, Leiden, for publishing the revised English edition in its Translation Series. The Biak material deserves more readers than the Dutch edition was able to reach.

This is a full-length, science-fiction, alien abduction romance that was previously released as part of a two-book collection introducing the first books in two series. Each book is now being released separately. This revised edition of The Scorpion's Mate has some small changes from the original. Claire has never really fit in with everyone around her, but she's carved out a life for herself using her own unique style and artistic ability to support herself on the Internet. The last thing she expects is to be abducted by aliens and dropped into a research facility, where a genetically-engineered alien soldier chooses her as his life-mate. Thrax's pheromones are compelling, and his status as a fellow unwilling test subject makes them allies, but Claire isn't certain she can trust someone who is convinced she belongs to him, when all she wants to do is find a way to return home to Earth-a place that her devoted alien can never follow, because there's no way the scorpion-like alien would ever be able to pass for human. Still, she'll accept help where she can find it, so she doesn't hesitate to escape with Thrax from the facility, though their time running from their pursuers in the warrens beneath the research facility will forever change Claire, and could make it impossible for her to return to Earth. But will there be anywhere else in the galaxy they can go where their love will be accepted?Author's Note: 18+ only, this book contains scenes of graphic intimacy and violence that are not intended for younger readers. Also, please note that the hero in this book is not human-looking and possesses an appearance and attributes that may not be comfortable for some readers to read about.
