If you are a husband or wife seeking for answers, and you Google the word husband, you will come up with about 885,000,000 results, and it will only take you 0.64 seconds to find them. Impressive! After you go through some of them, you will realize that about 1/1,000,000 of those results are either reliable or true. Not so impressive. So a person must find an equally impressive tool but without so much error. The only reliable source we could find other than Google was the Bible, but a husband must go through the entire Bible in order to ascertain its principles and truths. Thus, in order to alleviate the search of a husband or wife looking for serious answers, this book was born. The word of God has about 337 mentions of the word--not quite as many as Google--but by far the reliability of its contents is immeasurable. From the role of a husband, which is very specifically delineated in scriptures, to the fundamental difference between husband and wife, this book will cover them all--as explained in scriptures. An astute reader can finish the entire book in less than one day, but the average one may find it very easy to do in less than one week. Not bad for answers to be found, on a subject that would otherwise take months if not years to find. Nine chapters that can change your life and the life of your spouse, if you apply the principles delineated in this book. The Imperfect Husband!

From the time they were children, Annabelle Larson hasn't liked Ben Martin. Ben and her brother used to get into all kinds of trouble, and though her brother's led the schemes, Ben's never done anything to put a stop to them. And since she's been subjected to some of their ridiculous games, Ben's been nothing but an annoying nuisance. So when Ben forces her hand in marriage, she's furious. How could he do something that has just changed her entire life without any thought to whether or not she even wanted it? Though Annabelle refuses to believe it, Ben's motives were good. If he hadn't stepped in to marry her when he did, she would have ended up with a man who engages in unscrupulous behavior. The trouble is, she refuses to believe him, and worse, she won't even give him a chance to prove he can be a good husband. So in a desperate move to figure out how he can make her fall in love with him, he disguises himself as a woman and joins her lady's group. The Imperfect Husband is a romantic comedy of one man's attempt to woo the woman he's been secretly in love with ever since they were children.

“This book walks each of us through the reality checks we need in order to have the marriage we want!” —Shaunti Feldhahn, social researcher and best-selling author of For Women Only In today’s workplace, women are often rewarded for having type A personalities: driven, demanding, ambitious, and strong. Yet when it comes to their marriages, those same traits can backfire. After all, no one goes into marriage hoping for a promotion. What is a wife to do? April Cassidy knows this struggle firsthand. She thought she was a great Christian wife and begged God to make her passive husband into a more loving, involved, godly leader. Instead, God opened her eyes to changes that she needed to make, such as laying down her desire for control and offering genuine, unconditional respect—not just love—to her husband. Cassidy’s conclusions may be as startling to readers as they were to her, but The Peaceful Wife shares how she and many others have learned to reorient their lives to biblical commands—resulting in healthier, happier marriages. In the end, you’ll find The Peaceful Wife a powerful path to God’s design for women to live in full submission to Christ as Lord.
