Legends III and IV pick up where Legends I and II left off. They reveal the second half of a game already in progress between two spirits (Spirit and Fighter). They are playing the game for the right to dictate the fate of the world for good or evil. Early humans are entirely evil with no sense of right and wrong. Fighter is winning the game. To fix this problem, Spirit has placed a tiny Scrap baby with a human King and Queen. Scraps were made at the beginning of time with the knowledge of right and wrong, but they are tiny (three inches—full grown!). The humans accept the Scrap baby as their own and expect him to grow. He doesn’t. Spirit expects the adopted child to learn how to be a Conscience and help humans. Unfortunately, nobody tells the Scrap child about this. He feels that he is a useless runt. Fighter is close to winning the game. The fate of the world hangs in the balance. Will the Scrap child become a man in time to learn about his destiny and save his adopted father and the world? A final battle will determine the fate of the world forever.

“The Complete Legends of The Big Game” is an amazing journey into an ancient universe and the attempt of two spirits to effect its future for Good or Evil...through a game. An inhabited world is created as a game piece. Fighter for Chaos (Fighter) strives to destroy it ...and destroy it... and destroy it again...until he wins the game. New creatures are formed by the Spirit of Good (Spirit) to combat lethal treachery, but Fighter finds repeated methods to ruin a developing earth. Fighter exploits all the violent tendencies of early humans to wreck it while Spirit’s supporters bemoan Spirit’s apparently inept play calling and sad results. Some supporters of Team Good will not live to tell the tale, but Spirit is counting on a secret weapon if it can get into the game before the 4th Quarter ...Legend IV. Animals and humans unite for a world-changing event on the field of play that cannot be anticipated. The Big Game must be won to save the universe! (Note: This book is a compilation and rewrite of two books with nearly the same name. This book is better!)

Teddy Fitzroy returns as FunJungle’s resident zoo sleuth when a rhinoceros is at risk in Big Game, a follow-up to Belly Up and Poached—which Kirkus Reviews called a “thrill-ride of a mystery.” When someone takes aim at Rhonda Rhino, FunJungle’s pregnant (and endangered) Asian greater one-horned rhinoceros, the zoo steps up security measures in order to protect this rare animal and her baby. But the extra security isn’t enough—someone is still getting too close for comfort. Teddy and company start to suspect that whoever is after Rhonda is really after her horn, which is worth a lot of money on the black market. For the first time ever, the head of the zoo enlists Teddy for help—for once, he doesn’t have to sneak around in order to investigate—and the results are even more wacky, and even more dangerous, than ever before.

In 2014, a small team of San Francisco Bay Area residents was assembled to work on what would be the biggest Super Bowl the NFL had ever staged - the milestone Super Bowl 50. The first Super Bowl in the Bay Area in more than 30 years, there was no municipal purse to tap, nor any roadmap to follow: this group had to develop its own playbook. In Big Game Bigger Impact authors Pat Gallagher and Stephanie Martin chronicle how the members of the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee came together with the region to not only host a Super Bowl, but also redefine the experience in the process. After the final whistle was blown, Super Bowl 50 was the most giving, most shared and most participatory Big Game to date. Former Host Committee colleagues, Gallagher and Martin provide an insider's look into lessons learned during the Host Committee's two-year run-up - lessons that could benefit any business - and how their culture helped to achieve a record-setting Super Bowl, both on and off the field.

An inventory tabulated by States of 15 groups and races of big-game animals in the United States has been compiled annually by the Fish and Wildlife Service since 1937. These were the first attempts at a complete estimate of all big-game animals in the United States or, so far as known, in any country. Compilations for 1937, 1938, and 1940 have been issued as mimeographed wildlife leaflets.
