I enjoyed baseball from my Little League all the way up to high school. I liked so many sports that I was always busy playing something. In high school I lettered in soccer, tennis and basketball. In the summer I pitched softball for several adult teams. At Kutztown University I concentrated on tennis and basketball. After graduating from college I played on a semi-professional basketball team, the Exeter Black Knights, which won the National Amateur Basketball Championship in 1969. I still enjoy watching sports on television and in person - especially when my grandchildren are participating.
