In a last-ditch effort to keep her, he confesses that they are true mates. He has a lot to make up for his lies and sabotages to win Tracie’s heart, and she forgives him. Tracie wants Nathaniel to want and love her for her, not because of a mating bond he has no control over. He would do anything to protect her, even give up his own life.
