It’s Christmastime in Compass Cove and love is in the air… With her well-connected Long Island family, an exciting job as a London art dealer, and a brilliant, attentive boyfriend, Natalie Miller’s life was golden. Until it wasn't. No one knows about the anxiety that drives her, the loyalty forcing her to make impossible choices, or the secrets consuming her. Now back in Compass Cove, Natalie is fielding questions from her family about what brought her home and longs for the life—and the love—she left behind. University professor and aristocrat James Phillips prides himself on understanding people, so it mystifies him when the love of his life leaves London—and him—without explanation. When an opportunity to work at a small college in Natalie’s backyard arises, James jumps at the chance to move across the pond, willing to do whatever it takes to win back the heart of the woman he loves. Can the magic of Compass Cove at the most wonderful time of the year help James and Natalie find their way back to each other?

Just Jimmy Ink tells the story of an addict’s love for God and family and is told through his song and poetry. I hope that by telling my story, it may save another addict from losing his or her life. The poems and songs are reflections of the struggles I faced along my journey. Being locked up is where it all came to light in the darkest of times, when God again reached out and saved my life.

"You've heard of 3D movies...This is 3D emotions" For ages poetry has been used as an outlet to express the inner affections of the hearts of those in love. While those affections can be hard to describe on paper, Sherry Wright has done it with ease and seems to capture the true human emotions that go along with such passionate sentiments. Wright wrote each poem as a script, allowing the reader to become the "actor" and feel the range of emotions as they read her heartfelt words. Wright's melodic poems came from what she calls "inspiredwordsoul" which is a mixture of inspiration, imagination and emotions. Although the poems are about relationships, they are not limited to the romantic kind. Many of the poems have a variety of meanings, and Wright leaves it up to the reader to interpret each as they choose. "I tell people to read Somethin's in My Water aloud in order to actually feel the message and emotions." Poetry buffs and novices alike can appreciate and connect with the easy-read style of Wright's poems. She effortlessly puts into words the emotions relationships evoke, yet many times are difficult to voice.

Are you wondering where that childlike feeling of Christmas joy is? Are you searching throughout your life for peace on earth? Does it seem like the pinnacle of the Christmas season has become the presents of Santa – and not the presence of our Savior? Lost in the glitz of our flashy advertising campaigns, shiny decorations, and storebusting, can't-miss sales, the true spirit of Christmas has been missed by millions, even among those in the body of Christ. All too often, our time and energy are devoted to gifts under a tree rather than celebrating the greatest gift of all: the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If these worldly situations have left you longing for more, it's time for A Heavenly Christmas. Craig Van Zandt uses a biblically based study of the story of the birth of Jesus, as recounted in the book of Luke, to embrace the true meaning of Christmas. Van Zandt guides the reader to a mental, emotional, and spiritual understanding of the greatest Christmas miracle. 'Being in pastoral ministry for twenty-plus years, I am always on the lookout for material that truly moves my heart from contemplation to transformation. I'm delighted to say that A Heavenly Christmas: Enjoying the Presence of Jesus...Every Day has done just that!' – Pastor Pat Gordan Bethel Baptist Church, Santa Rosa, California

When two hearts become one, both happiness and sometimes sadness will find a place in that seemingly perfect union. As much happiness as we shared, when I look back over our life together, I was blessed that God allowed me to experience such joy and love every day with a man who not only made promises but kept those promises. Even though I have also witnessed sadness to an unimaginable degree since his unexpected death, I can truly say I was still blessed to have loved and been loved to a magnitude I do not have words to describe. A lifetime cannot be defined in terms of hours, days, years, decades or century. Regardless of the length of time any relationship lasts, we must learn to live every minute like it is our last. That is what my one true love taught me! He added truth, honesty, love and devotion together and we had a sum total of joy and happiness divided by the number of offsprings produced by that love. And we never parted in anger or unforgiveness--because no one can predict what the next minute will bring. Sometimes I think my love was just too wise for this world--that is why God called him home to be with Him. As I look back over our life together, I feel enormously blessed by God to have had such a love as this in my lifetime. Only God made it possible. Only God allowed me to experience total bliss for a little while (29.8 years). Words cannot describe the memories stored in my memory bank of our span of time together. In all my days of blissful retreat, the only thing I feel I did not do enough of is giving grateful praise to the Almighty for creating that soul mate just for me and I for him. Life will go on and in each whisk of air against my skin as I sit and read, I will remember it is you my love stopping by to see me every now and then. God saw you were getting tired; So He did what He knew was best. He watched and waited for the exact time, You were in most need of some rest. You did not say to me farewell; Nor even a wave good-bye. God took you swift and easy-- I dare not ask God why. He gave you to me for a while; I loved you with all my heart, I showed you, I told you daily, Even in death, we are not apart. Rest easy Honey until I get there, I will know you when I arrive. We will be just two angels forever, Always--partners--side by side.
